Hey All
Forum died again, so I thought to start a hot topic of sorts ... lol. But be nice.
The four inch turtle law ... is a hot topic or hot button for some. Most hate it and think it a complete waste.
I am wondering if anyone sees anything positive or any good for turtles themselves, as a result of the law as it is today.
Personally I do, but I am not in the US and not affected by it, so its more theory I suppose.
What are your thoughts Jinx

Good one.. this is a hot topic. I could go on all day about this, but instead yall can read the essay I wrote when I post it in January. I voted yes, there are some positive aspects to the law. And there are some extremely negative facets. For example, it is positive that RES were stopped being for sale to people who could't take care of them. However, it is negative that these RES weren't taken off the market all together- the markets just switched from selling them here in the U.S. to other countries. (Canada included, so Jinx, you are affected ) I'll be back to this, gotta go to work. [glow=blue,2,300]:Chez[/glow]

wow.. thought there would be some more hits than this.. come on, no opinions on this one? On the site, we actually have a petition to the FDA to reform this law. Check it out and please sign it! Click 'Four Inch Petition' up there in the GTT:r links box. [glow=blue,2,300]:Chez[/glow] still aghast at the lack of comments..
