This weekend one of my Geckos died, or more to the point, was attacked and killed by its tankmate. No idea why, they have been together over three years, and I have never seen any signs of agression. I don't feel like keeping Mingus anymore, after she killed my oldest pet except for Nutter. Measles was only 8, but should have lived to almost 30.

Sorry to hear that. It's hard losing a pet, especially one that you've had for so long. So what's going to happen to Mingus then? It is cruel that she did that. But afterall, animals really don't know any better.. [glow=blue,2,300]:Chez[/glow]

I'm not sure yet - I'm gonna leave it a couple of weeks, and also try to figure out why it happened, but I may end up giving her to my friend who has a breeding colony where she can be kept seperate except at breeding time. The best thing about the Geckos was the way they interacted, one on its own isn't quite the same.
It's wierd, I never thought I could be mad at an animal, I've got scars and things from being bitten by monitors, and turts have sometimes gone for each other, but I always knew why (with the monitors it's usually your own fault). I guess its cos it seems so random, like she just decided to one day...
