Hey Hey
Got a new tank, needs a little resealing, but other than that, awesome. Its 135g and comes with a lid and stand. And it is only, da da da daaaa, 100 bucks CDN.
Its beingsold as a reptile tank, but, the glass is thick and it has those aquarium thermometers stuck to it as well as fish background, so it wa used for water at one point....lol.
A little elbow work outta me and Dips has a new (permanent home). I am so pleased. My other tank was free....either i am incredibly lucky or i gots skills......lmao

Nicely done! I want to get a new tank for Nutter - something over 30" tall hopefully - give him some diving room! Now you just have to buy loads of new decorations to help fill it up.

Thats the best thing....i rarely buy anything decoration wise...hardware is another question, that is where i prefer to spend my money.
Driftwood I collect every summer when up North (in Ontario) so I always have that laying around. A big bag of playsand costs like 5-6 bucks. Pots and rocks are always around too. Even plants I can collect from up North, but they never last. I normally use only rocks, pots, sand and wood.
leaves lots of swimming room....
I do have to make new platforms for it though, but again i have plexiglass all over this house....
I have run into a problem, getting it delivered at less cost than it actually cost.....lol. Waiting on a ride.

Make sure you document the procedure you go though to make the plexi-platforms (with photos), I'll be doing the same when I build my next one, so between us we could create the one-stop article for custom turtle basking platforms.
