My tank is greeeeeeen!!! I know it's because there's too much sunlight but I'm trying to find ways to fix it without having to find a new spot for the tank. The only thing I've come up with so far is putting something dark over the tank during the day but i'm afraid I'm gonna boil my turtle in the process... is that possible? And also, I usually put something called "Turtle Clean" into the tank, is there something else I could use that's more powerfull? (There's no green stuff on the tank itself or the objects that are in it, it's just the water) Anyway, if anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it

Keeping your tank in direct light from a window is dangerous because it can mean that your tank overheats, so I would advise moving it anyway.
Usually sunlight-related alge grows on things. Your water problem may be due to a chemical imbalance due to the sunlight, but this hints at a more serious problem than colour! If the water is imbalanced, it may end up making your turtle ill.
I would strongly recommend finding a different location for the tank.

Hey Hey More info and I may be able to help you out.......what you are aiming for is something called eco balance a natural way to fight algae, regardless of its location, basically.....lol. May be hard in a turtle tank. Tank size, occupants, filtration, lights, how long lights on for, how much waste/food and what is the maintenace schedule....lol answer those nd I'll see what I can do for you. Eco balance is what I try to practice with my fish tanks, much harder for indoor and with turtles....but it is possible. I am basically algae free for the last 6-7years.
