While I was going through the products I'm going to put on the GTT:r store, the description they have for Reptisun says it stays effective for a year. I thought it had to be changed every 3-4 months. What do you think? [glow=blue,2,300]:Chez[/glow]

The most common date that i have heard is about every 6 months for most bulbs.

Yea, now that it's starting to get warm and sunny I do that. They seem to like roaming around in the backyard. [glow=blue,2,300]:Chez[/glow]

As long as they are safe from birds, dogs, and cats they love it outside

It depends actually.....
If you are like me and keep indoors, full time 12hr to 14 hr light intervals....your light is gonna runout/get weaker faster....so I would say every three months.
If you are outdoors all day and light on a couple of hour a day, then your light will last longer....so maybe 6months.
I personally find 3 months is a good time to switch as I use my lights 12-14hours a day. The bulb itself lights up for another 8months sometimes, but the intensity is not there and thus it is not doing its job no longer.
Hope I make sense.
